How To Look After Lcd Monitors

Care for LCD monitor.

Just as with a flat-panel LCD television screen, dirt and particles can accumulate on your LCD monitor from time to time. You may have used wet paper towels to clean the screen of your old tube television or monitor screen. These materials can scratch or otherwise damage the LCD monitor. Using the right combination of products will help you safely remove items from the surface of your LCD monitor, giving you a clear view of whatever is on your screen.

Instructions

1. Buy a cleaning kit for your LCD monitor. These kits come with a cleaner, microfiber cloth and a duster.

2. Turn the LCD monitor off. Leave the monitor off for about 15 minutes.

3. Dust the LCD monitor with the dust brush included with the cleaning kit. This duster can be used on the LCD monitor screen as well as other parts of the monitor.

4. Fold your microfiber cloth in half. Then, spray the LCD monitor cleaner onto one half of the cloth. Spray the cloth about five to seven times.

5. Wipe the LCD monitor with the wet portion of the microfiber cloth. Be sure to wipe the entire screen.

6. Turn the cloth to the dry side and wipe the screen. Wipe all of the screen so that it is fully dry.
