Games For 11yearold Women

Give the girls a variety of feather boas for a fashion contest.

Games can liven up a holiday gathering or birthday party and help the guests get to know one another. When hosting a party for 11-year-old girls, use your imagination to create girly games for them to play. Awarding girl-themed prizes, such as hair accessories and makeup, will encourage them to play along. With a few supplies and some game ideas, you can plan games that will appeal to many 11-year-old girls.

Truth or Dare Games

Have the girls sit in a circle and play a basic game of truth or dare. Select one girl to go first, and have her ask another girl "Truth or dare?" If the second girl says, "Truth," the first girl can ask her question about things such as her crush or have her name her hero. If she says "Dare," she can give her a dare. A few dare examples include having the girl stand on her head for one minute or sing a verse to a favorite song.

For another idea, write the same dare and truth questions on small slips of paper. Place the paper slips in inflated balloons, and put the balloons in the middle of the circle. Each girl must pop two balloons and do what the slip of paper suggests.

Girl Contests

Create a fashion, singing and dance contest for 11-year-old girls. Give them a box of fashion items, such as high heels, feather boas, sunglasses, costume jewelry and glitter clothes. After the girls find an outfit, have them get into groups to practice a song that they can sing and dance to. Allow the girls 20 minutes to prepare for their performance. After 20 minutes, have each group come out and perform. Award prizes to the best, funniest, most creative and silliest performances.

Team Games

Divide the girls into teams of three or four. Fill a shopping bag for each team with items, such as clothes, wigs, hats, shoes, handcuffs, purses and jewelry. Each team must take a shopping bag into another room and put together a short skit using its items. The teams have 15 minutes to come up with a skit. Award prizes to the best and funniest skits.

For another team game, give the girls bags filled with random items such as a hairbrush, hair color or candy bar. The girls must make a commercial for one of the products in their bag.

Craft Games

Tell the girls to sit around the table. Place a variety of jewelry craft-making supplies, such as elastic string, jewelry clasps, seashell and other beads, on the table. The girls can make bracelets, anklets and necklaces for themselves. Make it a contest by awarding prizes for the most creative, prettiest and funniest pieces of jewelry.

For another craft contest, try a pillowcase contest. Give each girl a pillowcase. Place fabric markers, glitter pens, sponges and acrylic paint on the table for the girls to use. Award prizes for the best pillowcases.
