What's The Golden Egg That Appears In "Angry Wild birds"?

"

Angry Birds" is available for Android and iPhone.

"Angry Birds" is a game that lets you slingshot birds toward pigs that are surrounded by creatively constructed buildings and environments. Golden eggs are a bonus feature within the larger game. The eggs, however, don't contribute to your score. Each egg you hit allows you to unlock another level of the game.

Locations

Not every level in "Angry Birds" contains a golden egg. The locations are secret, meaning that the game does not have a manual for where each egg is, although some golden eggs are conspicuous. Other eggs, however, are subtly placed around the perimeter of your screen and are only visible if you zoom out to the largest view of the game. Golden eggs may also be hidden from view, and only visible if you shoot a bird high into the air, forcing the screen to move upward.

New Levels

When you successfully hit a golden egg in "Angry Birds," a new level of the game is unlocked for you to play. To access the levels associated with golden eggs, return to the game's menu and scroll your screen to the right, past the last regular level of play. Tap the yellow "Golden Eggs" square and then the glowing egg to see your new level. A separate glowing egg appears for each egg captured. Once you have completed the new level, the egg stops glowing.

Stars

Hitting the golden egg in an "Angry Birds" level will not affect the number of stars you receive for that level, nor give you a higher score for the level. You must still achieve stars by hitting the pigs with your birds. Once you complete a golden egg level, the egg stops glowing and displays one large star on the front of it, indicating that you passed the level.

Mini-Game

Golden eggs provide a mini-game within the larger game. On top of getting all three stars for every level in each world, the primary objective of "Angry Birds," capturing all the golden eggs is a way to add another dimension to your game play. While it is entirely possible to complete "Angry Birds" without ever hitting a golden egg, getting eggs lets you extend your gameplay, once you've finished the regular game.
