Pink Wedding Focal point Ideas

Add pink roses to a romantic centerpiece.

Most little girls grow up liking pink, the soft color of romance. However, pink can be bold and bright as well as pastel, and consist of many shades and hues for you to choose from for a pink wedding centerpiece. Figure out the color and theme you like and then choose the flowers to fit your design.

Romantic

Combine pink with white for the classic romantic design. Place a white fan vase into the center of the table and add plant foam inside. Place pink and white roses into the vase as you alternate the colors for a pleasing display. Sprinkle in some greenery and baby's breath. Wrap small boxes in white, before adding pale pink ribbons to the sides and making a bow. Rest some along the base of the vase, while other lies flat on the table. Place a horse-drawn carriage frame on top holding a picture of the couple.

Graphic

Go graphic with a hot pink and black design. Pick a black container flashing pink squares, polka dots or waves as their design. Insert the plant foam inside and arrange pink anemones which contain a black center into the container. Design a horizontal display with the flowers where the height decreases as you build to the other side. Place pictures of the couple in graphic frames with black marble-shaped items, such as squares, rectangular or round balls around the display to complete the graphic look.

Elegant

Prepare an elegant arrangement. Position a footed silver urn in the center of your table and add plant foam. Stand up pink peonies and pink phalaenopsis orchids in the center of the urn, while bunches of pink nigella flowers cascade over the sides of the urn. Fill any holes in the display with greenery and arrange the greenery around the feet of the urn. Position a candelabra next to the urn with three pink candles.

Formal

Place faux pink ice almost to the top of a tall crystal container. Stand pink ostrich plumes in the center of the container and drape some feathers over the side. Run a thick black velvet band across the top of the container approximately 2 inches from the open edge. Attach a large pink crystal pin to the center of the black velvet on both sides of the vase. Choose from a heart, oval or square crystal pin. Place the display in the center of the table on a mirror circle and surround it with pink taper candles on black holders.
