Steps To Make Martini Glass Table decorations

Use large martini glasses as centerpieces by floating a candle in the middle.

Create a trendy and chic centerpiece by using martini glasses. These provide the perfect centerpiece for wedding decorations, adult birthday parties and annual celebrations. The martini glass' versatility makes it an easy centerpiece to alter and re-use for your next celebration. Check clearance sales and weekly advertisements for good deals on martini glasses. Plan for the number of martini glasses you'll need and negotiate a price if buying in bulk.

Instructions

1. Float candles and flower petals. Place martini glasses in the center of the table, fill them with water and float candles and flower petals in them. Consider using colored water for extra affects. Use oversized martini glasses in order to place several candles in the martini glass. Place vase gems in the bottom of the martini glass for extra color and sparkle.

2. Fill with candy or other sweet treats. Think about using various sizes of martini glasses to create a staggered look. Choose the guest of honor's favorite candies and sweet treats to fill the glasses. These make great snacks for guests as well.

3. Create a floral arrangement. Select oversized martini glasses and create a floral arrangement to match the décor of your party. Use pieces of floral foam to hold the flowers in place. Hide the "makings" of the floral arrangement by lining the glass with material to match the décor. Set the floral foam block inside a plastic bag to protect the material. Be creative, there are several inexpensive ways to hide the floral arrangement makings.

4. Use lights and decorative filler. Place ice cube lights in the martini glass with decorative filler. These add sparkle and shine to your martini glasses. Try using other materials that are small, shiny and translucent with the ice cube lights. Float the ice cube lights in water to make your glasses look like giant martinis.

5. Make gel candles. Create gel candles in martini glasses as your centerpieces. Select colors to match the décor. An easy craft project to do at home, gel candles make nice favors for the guests. Consider placing embeds within the gel candles, representing your event's theme. Many local craft stores sell basic gel candle kits or you can purchase them online.

6. Fill with glass balls. Use small Christmas glass balls to create a martini glass centerpiece. Mix lights and glass balls to create a simple and inexpensive shine to your centerpiece. Place small votive candles next to the martini glasses and dim the lights for a romantic effect.
