Wheatgrass is a specific type of grass that can be utilized in a variety of ways--for decoration, including as centerpieces, or as a health supplement. In recent years, wheatgrass has become trendy as a health drink. Wheatgrass "shots" are said to be beneficial and add extra vitamins to your diet. Below you will find just a few of the many uses of wheatgrass.
Instructions
1. Make it into a centerpiece. Wheatgrass can be grown at home by ordering seeds and watering it, or it can be bought already grown through various outlets (see Resources below).
2. Cut squares or rectangle of wheatgrass and place them in clear vases of similar shape. Through the clear vases, you'll be able to see the grass as well as the soil, which will give the centerpieces a natural feel. Additionally, you can add flowers to the wheatgrass patch as a way to add more color.
3. Make a wheatgrass beverage. You will need a special wheatgrass juicer (see Resources below), and preferably a shot grass. Add pieces of wheatgrass into the top of the juicer. If you have a manual juicer, rotate the clamp and be sure to catch the juice from the bottom in a glass.
