Steps To Make Paper Fans With Craft Stick Handles

On a hot summer day, even a bit of a breeze to make the difference between sweltering, uncomfortable heat and relaxing warmth. What better way to take the edge off than with your own homemade craft stick paper fan? This fan is more durable than a paper fan, and it is easy to decorate too.

Instructions

1. Cut a rectangle out of card stock. Then, go back and round the edges. This is your fan.

2. Glue a craft stick to the fan so that the top 2 inches or so are attached to middle of one of the sides and the rest points straight down. Glue and other craft stick to the back, parallel to the first.

3. Glue a stick in between the other sticks to reinforce them. Cut off the part of it that pokes down below the other 2 sticks. Your fan now has a handle.

4. Paint your fan. You can either paint it a solid color or draw designs on it. It will also look good with collages, glued on beads or any other decorations you wish to add.
