If you're not normally fond of costume parties, you might find yourself stumped to come up with a quick costume idea if you get talked into a Halloween gathering. You want to wear a recognizable costume, but you don't want to have anything too elaborate to deal with. Transform yourself into a cat in less than an hour. Most of the costume can come from your everyday wardrobe, and the cat bits come together in just a few moments.
Instructions
1. Put on a black shirt. Choose a T-shirt with long or short sleeves, a leotard top or a button shirt. The style doesn't matter so much, as long as it's solid black.
2. Put on a pair of black pants or bottoms. Wear dress slacks, black jeans, black tights or bicycle shorts or anything else that covers your bottom with black fabric.
3. Cut out two triangles of black felt that are about as tall as your pinky finger. Fold down the bottom of each triangle and glue it to the top of a plastic headband, with each triangle stuck where a cat ear would be on your head.
4. Draw whiskers on your face with a black eyebrow pencil. Tuck a black feather boa into the back of your pants to create a tail. Place the headband on your head. Finish the look with any type of black shoes.
