What Goes On In "Assassin'S Creed 2" Whenever You Collect All The Treasure Chests?

"

Assassin's Creed 2" takes place in historical Italian places, like Florence.

"Assassin's Creed 2" is a video game published by the Ubisoft and is available for the PC, Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. In the game, there are side quests that earn the player extra gaming points that also help in fully completing the game. One side quest in "Assassin's Creed 2" is collecting treasure chests throughout the game.

The Treasure Chests

According to Games Radar, "Assassin's Creed 2" has treasure chests located across every stage in the game. Each stage takes place during the Renaissance period in Italy. The stages are replicas of cities such as Florence, Tuscany and Venice, with each one having several treasure chests hidden in the stage.

Purpose of the Chests

According to Halo2and34u, "Assassin's Creed 2" treasure chests contain large amounts of money. This money serves multiple purposes throughout the game. The player can use the money to purchase weapons and tools, and may also help win achievements.

Achievements or Trophies

Achievements or Trophies are incentives from side quests or stage completions in a video game. Each video game has its own unique achievements that are unlocked on the PlayStation 3 -- trophies -- and the Xbox 360 -- achievements. The website Xbox 360 Achievements argues that many of the achievements that can be unlocked on the Xbox 360 version of "Assassin's Creed 2" requires some money to unlock. Hence, achievements like "Man of the People" and "Handy Man" are easier to accomplish with money from the treasure chests.

In The End

In the end, a player does not achieve any special prize for opening all treasure chests in "Assassin's Creed 2." Instead, a player gains money that can enhance the player's skills through bought weapons and tools or help in the process to win other achievements. Collecting all the treasure chests do not give the player a new ending, a trophy or achievement, or any special skills.
