Guide dogs are popular at many hunt clubs.
Hunters in Illinois can enjoy a number of commercial hunting clubs, including several in the Ottawa area. These licensed facilities offer opportunities to hunt species including ring-necked pheasant, bobwhite quail, chukar and Hungarian partridge, mallard duck and wild turkey. Dates of operation differ for each facility and depend on state-regulated hunting seasons. Commercial hunting clubs typically charge for use of their facilities by way of membership or daily fees. Most clubs have strict rules and requirements concerning issues such as outerwear, firearms, ground shooting and unsportsmanlike conduct.
