When planning a bachelorette party, entertainment is a key feature. Get with your girlfriends and ask them to cough up some cash--no matter what the bride-to-be's tastes, you can find affordable ways to hire entertainment for the bachelorette party and make it a night to remember.
Instructions
1. Discuss the party with your other girlfriends. Brainstorm entertainment ideas that cater to the bride-to-be, not necessarily to the rest of the group. If the bride-to-be is conservative, for example, don't hire a stripper because others would enjoy one.
2. Hire a live band only if the party location can accommodate one without annoying the neighbors. Stereo systems are easy to mute, but it's difficult to turn the volume down on live bands.
3. Consider a comedian for a live show during the party. Check the phone book for entertainers or approach the funniest person you know and ask her to put together a monologue.
4. Save money by asking a friend to play an instrument (such as an acoustic guitar) during the party. A strolling or background musician can add flavor to the celebration.
5. Get a fortune teller for the event or ask one of your friends to dress up as one for the entertainment value.
6. Engage a stripper only if the party will be an R-rated event. Warn guests ahead of time that the stripper will be there, and choose a specific time for him to perform. This way, guests can leave before he arrives if they prefer to do so.
