In "Assassin's Creed II," you explore the game's story in segmented memory sequences. Each memory sequence is like one chapter in the story. As you near the end of the game, you may notice that you are not able to play "Sequence 12" or "Sequence 13." These missing sequences have been released as downloadable content. When you purchase "Sequence 13," the "Bonfire of the Vanities" mission becomes available to you. To play it, you need to select the mission from the list of sequences in the DNA menu.
Instructions
1. Go to the Xbox LIVE Marketplace or PlayStation Store, depending on your console. Access the "Assassin's Creed II" downloadable content section.
2. Select the "Bonfire of the Vanities" content and select "Download." As of 2011, this content is priced at $4.99. If you do not have enough money or points in your account, you will be prompted to add more.
3. Start your "Assassin's Creed II" game. Hit "Start" to pause and scroll to "DNA." Scroll to the right and select "Sequence 13." Your assistant, Rebecca, tells you that a corrupted memory has been recovered. You are taken to the correct location in Florence automatically.
4. Defeat the group of guards in front of you to start playing the first mission in "Sequence 13." After you complete this mission, pause the game and bring up the map to see the location of more missions.
