Little girls applying makeup
Little girls love to dress up, experiment with makeup and try out new hairstyles. If you do not have a separate room to turn into a dressing room, you can create one within your little girl's bedroom. She and her friends will love having a space dedicated to trying on clothes and giving each other makeovers.
Instructions
1. Follow a girly color scheme in your little girl's dressing room. Stick to one main color, such as pink or purple, and two accent colors, such as green and cream.
2. Attach two ceiling tracks in the corner of your little girl's bedroom, one parallel and one perpendicular to the wall. The tracks should create an L shape on the ceiling. Hang drapes to section off the area from the rest of the room. If the room has particularly high ceilings, use two moveable clothes racks to section off the corner.
3. Hang a full-length mirror on the wall. Decorate it with fairy lights.
4. Decorate a large trunk with stencils, stickers or glitter glue. Fill it with fancy dress costumes, feather boas, hats, scarves and other accessories.
5. Hang party dresses from moveable clothes racks.
6. Invest in a dressing table that will fit snugly into the corner. Add a small stool that will tuck underneath it. Fill the drawers with makeup and hair accessories.
7. Position an area rug in the center of the dressing-room area.
8. Hang framed photographs of your little girl with her friends and family on the walls.
