Six of the game's flags appear only near the Vatican.
"Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" is the sequel to "Assassin's Creed II." Also set in Renaissance-era Italy, the game brings back many elements of earlier games, including the flag system. "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" contains 101 Borgia flags, which players can collect for extra achievements and equipment. The game also includes a few extra features not found in earlier games to make flag collecting simpler.
Benefits
Collecting all 101 Borgia flags in the game rewards you with the "Capture the Flag" achievement. It also provides the Borgia Cape, an outfit that adjusts your statistics. The Borgia Cape sets the character's notoriety to zero while being worn, effectively rendering him Incognito. High levels of notoriety make it harder to sneak up on guards, while zero notoriety means that guards will ignore you unless they see you breaking the law or entering a restricted area.
Helpful Features
In "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood," you can purchase Flag Maps from art merchants, nonplayer characters who also sell paintings and treasure maps. In addition, each time you see a flag using Eagle Vision, the extra sense that allows you to see relations between people and objects, the game automatically maps that flag on your main map.
Flag Locations
You can find Borgia flags in all major districts. Flags 1 through 18 are located in the main Campagna district. Another eight flags appear in this district once you open its eastern portion. The northeastern part of the Centro district contains eight flags. The central western contains four, and the central eastern and southeastern area contain five. Another six flags appear on Tiber Island and in the southwestern Centro district. In the Antico district, you can find the first six flags northwest of the Colosseum, another four flags around the Aventino and Thieves Guild areas, and seven flags east of the Colosseum. Flags 67 through 74 appear in the southeast and southern locked areas of the Antico district. Find the last five flags in the Vaticano district
Considerations
While art merchants sell Flag Maps, they aren't available immediately. If you've never finished the game, you'll have to collect at least 25 Borgia flags on your own before you can unlock access to these maps. Players who've already finished the game have access to the Flag maps before they collect any flags.
