Egg allergies are one of the most commonly NAET-treated allergies.
Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques, NAET, "are a non-invasive, drug free, natural solution to eliminate allergies of all types and intensities using a blend of selective energy balancing, testing and treatment procedures from acupuncture/acupressure, allopathy, chiropractic, nutritional, and kinesiological disciplines of medicine," reports NAET.com. NAET treatments help a patient overcome allergies and other ailments through repeated exposure to the allergen and all-natural techniques. NAET can be used for many different allergies, such as food and pollen or for ailments such as depression or irritable bowel syndrome.
Rule of Thumb
The general rule for diet after NAET treatments is to avoid all contact with whatever you were treated for for 25 hours after treatment. You must not eat, breathe, touch or come within 5 feet of the allergen you were treated for. For this reason, prior planning is necessary and you must take special precautions and prepare your house so that all of the allergen is out of your environment.
Egg Mix
One of the most commonly treated allergen groups is called the egg mix, which includes; egg yolk, egg white, chicken, tetracycline and feathers. You must not eat or touch egg white, egg yolk, chicken, tetracycline, or any foods containing egg or chicken. This includes food such as crackers, cookies, breads, cakes, salad dressings, and foods fried or baked in egg batter. You must also avoid birds, feather pillows, vitamins and protein shakes made with egg, comforters, shampoos, conditioners and lotions made with egg products. You are still allowed to eat rice, pasta without eggs, fruits, vegetables, oils, beef and milk products.
Milk/Calcium Mix
The calcium mix of allergens includes: calcium-carbonate, calcium-gluconate, cow's milk, goat's milk, calcium-ascorbate, milk casein and milk albumin. If this is the allergen group you have been treated for, you must avoid milk and milk products, eggs, chicken, raw vegetables, dark-leafy vegetables such as lettuce, broccoli, sesame seeds, cheese, oats, walnuts, fish, calcium supplements, most nuts, figs, berries and tomatoes. You can eat cooked rice, pasta, cooked non-leafy vegetables, red meat, olive oil, peaches, coffee and tea without milk or creamer and nectarines.
Vitamin C Mix
The third most-common allergen group is the vitamin C mix, which includes ascorbic acid, citrus mix, Oxalic acid, vegetable mix, fruit mix, vinegar mix, chlorophyll, rutin, hesparin and bioflavinoids. If you are being treated for the vitamin C group, you must avoid all contact with fresh fruits and vegetables, citrus fruits, dry fruits, sauces, juices, fruit drinks, vitamin C supplements, artificial sweeteners and toothpaste. You are allowed to eat cooked rice, sauce-less pasta, boiled or poached eggs, baked or broiled chicken, red meat, fish, brown toast, French fries, deep-fried food, oils, salt, coffee and water. You may also eat any food that does not contain vitamin C or any vitamin C derivatives.
Sugar Mix
The final common allergen group is the sugar mix. The sugar mix consists of cane sugar, beet sugar, brown sugar, corn sugar, rice sugar, maple sugar, molasses, honey, fruit sugar, sucrose, glucose, dextrose, lactose, maltose, grape sugar and date sugar. You must avoid all contact with and ingestion of any of the listed sugars, drinks with sugar and sauces. Avoid powdered spices in pre-packed containers, mouth-washing liquids and toothpaste. You may still eat white rice, vegetables, pasta, vegetable oils, chicken, eggs, water, coffee and tea without milk.
