Giving lingerie is a tradition and symbol of womanhood moving into a new life role as a wife and married woman. A lingerie-themed bridal shower is a great idea for showering a bride-to-be with lots of sexy attire she can wear on her honeymoon and afterward. All themed parties are better when the decorations match the theme as it adds to the excitement.
Instructions
1. Choose a location that can be made to feel like an intimate bedroom or sexy boudoir. Hang a chandelier in the center of the room. Drape pieces of lingerie such as bras, panties, garters and more from the chandelier.
2. Set up plush couches and sofas for guests. Cover them with silk pillows. Hang some feather boas and throws over the edges of the sofas. Drape beads, strings of crystals and rhinestones from the edges of tables, lamps and other furniture.
3. Set out large vases of fresh flowers. Scatter rose petals from the entryway into the room. Set up a vanity and stool. Cover the table with jewelry and makeup.
4. Light some candles to set a sexy and romantically intimate setting. Use lace doilies on the tables.
5. Create strawberries and chocolate centerpieces. Get an elegant crystal chips and dip bowl. Fill the center "dip" section with melted chocolate. Fill the surrounding larger section with fresh strawberries for dipping. Set out champagne glasses and bottles of champagne for guests.
