The "Pokemon" series challenges players to catch pets called Pokemon. Once caught, the Pokemon remain in the player's inventory, trapped inside of Pokeballs. The player can throw these Pokeballs during combat to unleash the Pokemon on his foes. Typically, the Pokemon appear on the battle field with no fanfare, but by applying Pokeball seals, you'll trigger effects such as sparks, smoke and floating hearts. These do not improve the fighting potential of your Pokemon, however; they simply look cool.
Instructions
1. Head to Solaceon Town, which is down Route 209. Head north of the Pokemon Center. You'll find a mother and her son near the Solaceon Ruins. Speak with her to get the Seal Case. You need this to acquire Seals.
2. Go to Sunyshore and head northwest of the Pokemart. You'll find a store which specializes in Seals. They change their stock, depending on the day of the week. Most Seals cost less 150 PokeDollars.
3. Visit a Pokemon Center, Day Care or other location with a blue PC. Click on the PC to use it. Select your name and then "Ball Capsules." The PC will present you with 12 Pokeballs. You can customize them with Seals.
4. Click on the Pokeball you want to customize. Select a Seal and place it on the ball. The closer the Seal is to the button, the sooner it triggers after you throw the ball. You may place as many Seals as you want on the ball.
5. Select a Pokemon to put in the ball. Next time you throw him into battle, you'll see your pokeball's Seals go off.
