How To Locate The Neptune Statue In "Assassin'S Creed 2"

Science fiction meets history and myth in "Assassin's Creed 2" as the game continues the Assassin's Creed series storyline. "Assassin's Creed 2" also takes a jump from the first game's crusades of the late 12th century to the Italian city states of the late 15th century. In the game, a Florentine noble turned assassin named Ezio, controls a small town and villa. The town contains items and secrets that he uncovers. Scattered throughout the town and villa is a series of eight statues that Ezio must return to the villa's garden for money and achievement.

Instructions

1. Travel to the town of Monteriggioni if you are not already there. Monteriggioni is the location of Ezio's home and stronghold. All 8 missing statues of the roman gods and goddesses are located in this village. The Neptune statue is one of the more difficult of the statues to find as it is hidden behind a tree and hard to spot from the rooftops.

2. Start at the main gates of Monteriggioni, facing north toward the villa. Turn immediately to the right and head down the street. Follow the road as it curves back northward one street down. Look for a Y intersection with a building directly to the north. The building resides to the right where the road splits, and you also see a small courtyard with a tree growing inside.

3. Enter the courtyard and look behind the tree. The Neptune statue is located behind the tree, set in a small recess in the building's wall. The Neptune statue glows, easy to spot from the ground. Walk over to the statue to pick up.

4. Collect the remainder of the statues hidden throughout Monteriggioni. Once you locate all eight, return to proper pedestals in the garden behind the Villa. Return statues before you have all eight if you wish. Once all 8 are located and returned, you receive 8000 florins and unlock the Myth Maker Achievement.
