Bachelorette parties are often crazy, fun-filled nights of adventure and surprises, so what you wear should also be amusing and slightly different than any other day. Themed celebrations are popular, so costumes are customary. When it comes to bachelorette costumes, the crazier and more out of the ordinary, the better. So go wild with your costumes and enjoy these ideas when getting ready for your bash.
Devils and Angels
Put on a pair of angel wings and a halo paired with some high heels and a naughty white silk lingerie-type dress. Or put on a set of devil horns and be truly bad in a red minidress. Walk around with a plastic poker or spear so you can poke people in the rear and get yourself in a bit of trouble.
Traffic Lights
This one is fun for a group of girls to do. If you're taken (meaning you're in a relationship), you wear red like a red light that signals others to stop. If you're single, you wear green because you're free to go ahead and flirt and be hit on. If you're unsure, you wear yellow. Lots of women make this into a game with the guys they meet and try to get them to figure it out.
Princess
Every woman is a princess, and for a bachelorette party, you can go with a princess theme to bring out your inner diva. Have everyone dress in frilly, ultragirlie clothes and wear tiaras. Wrap a boa around your neck and don't forget about the glamorous jewelry.
Favorite Colors
Have everyone dress in the bride's favorite color. This way your group will all look alike and be easy to spot if you go somewhere overly crowded. Tell everyone to express their own style and idea of what it means to dress up for a night out as long as the outfit is in the bride's favorite color.
Racy
Go with a sexy stripper style and let it all hang out for one night. If you plan on going to a strip club or out dancing at the clubs then this works well. However, you can dress racy and scandalously no matter what you choose to do with your night out on the town. Wear the tallest high heels you can find paired with lacy bralike tops and short skirts or tight jeans. Push-up corsets, bras or bustiers are all good choices. Also doll up your hair and bring on the accessories such as large hoop earrings or fake diamond jewelry.
