How You Can Decorate Each Table In a different way For Any Wedding

Give each of your reception tables its own charming centerpiece.

When planning the table decorations for your wedding reception, tradition recommends that you keep all the decorations the same. However, modern brides often enjoy the freedom allotted to them by contemporary individuality. Adding a different decorative plan to each of the tables adds interest and helps your reception's theme truly come to life. To keep the reception venue from looking sloppy, however, it is best to stick with a muted color palette so that you can let the elements' aspects speak for themselves.

Instructions

1. Develop a theme for your reception. A theme will help give you something around which to build your reception details. Everything, from the napkins to the centerpieces, should reflect the theme for it to work well.

2. List various elements of the theme to help you determine the best complementary design elements. For instance, if you are having a vintage theme, think of pearls, chandeliers, hat boxes and feather boas. For a masquerade ball theme, think of gilt statues, embellished masks and ornate fans. Color themes, too, can be brought to life by decorating each table differently. Each table can have a floral centerpiece that reflects a color used or you can try colored floating candles in bowls to illuminate each table separately.

3. Name your tables after an aspect of your theme. This, too, can help you think of decorative elements to include. If, for instance, your theme is winter wonderland, name your tables things such as snowflake, icicle and frost. Those with a European theme can name their tables after picturesque cities throughout the continent, such as Paris, Venice and Prague.

4. Build each table around its theme and name. Additionally, do not feel limited to flower centerpieces. For winter weddings, consider branches sprayed with white paint in a vase, a miniature snowflake-covered tree or snow globes. Alternatively, ornate candelabra can work well for vintage and antique themes, and you can complement the candlesticks with related additions, such as masks, long gloves and opera glasses for a masquerade theme or sparkly brooches, feather hairpieces and strands of pearls for a roaring 20s theme.
