Make sure to capture some of the silliness on film.
Make your daughter's next sleepover party one that's filled with goofy games, loads of laughs and moments that will always be remembered. Don't be surprised if the night flies by and the girls don't want to go home in the morning. Your daughter will be talking about it for days afterward before she starts begging you for another slumber party.
Piggly Wiggly
The girls will take turns playing this hiding game. One girl will volunteer to leave the room first while the other girls hide under blankets or sleeping bags. When the volunteer comes back in, she goes around and taps each sleeping bag. That is the cue for the hiding girl to disguise her voice and say something like "piggly wiggly" or "oink oink." If the guesser can correctly identify who is hiding, the girl has to emerge. If not, she has to say no and the guesser moves on. The last person still hiding wins and becomes the next guesser.
Wacky Dress Up
This silly game is sure to be filled with non-stop giggles. In one room, set up wild dress-up clothes and accessories. Think bright scarves, feather boas, sunglasses and hats. Send each girl in the dress-up room one at a time. She has 90 seconds to emerge with the funniest outfit she can come up with. Each girl takes turns and at the end they decide who was able to pull off the wacky look best.
Hot Potato Nail Polish
Have the group of girls sit around in a circle. With some lively music playing in the background, they will pass around a bottle of nail polish. When the music stops, the girl holding the bottle will paint as many of her toes as she can until the music starts again. Keep this going. The first one will all her toes painted is the winner.
Sock Grab
Each girl puts on socks halfway. They should be on, but dangling loosely. Check to make sure everyone's socks look similar. The girls crawl around the floor with one simple purpose. They are all after each other's socks, trying to remove them. The last girl remaining with at least one sock still on is the winner. To add an extra challenge, flicker the lights on and off as the girls crawl or just turn off the lights completely.
Personalized Pillowcases
To wind down the evening, have girls sit around and decorate their own pillowcases that they can sleep on that night and take home in the morning. Have an assortment of permanent markers or fabric pens (these may take longer to dry) and have girls draw on designs or scroll on their names. They will remember the sleepover every time they lay down to sleep.
