Daisies will bring whimsy and personality to your wedding centerpieces.
Daisies are such cheerful flowers with their round little faces and brightly colored petals. Think back to the carefree times of youth when you ran through a field picking up daisies for your flower bouquet. Replicate the joy and reckless abandonment of childhood as you prepare a daisy wedding centerpiece. Choose a container and filler flowers with greenery to perpetuate the image.
Beach Theme
Find a pail in the primary colors of red or blue and fill it wet sand. Stick large yellow daisies into singular plant holders containing water and arrange them in the pail with their heads peeking out at various heights. Add tiny little sand castles around the pail, which can double as wedding favors after the event. Place beach photographs of the couple in frames that resemble surfboards, canoes, flip-flops or daisies on the table.
Romantic
Wrap the stem and base of an Eiffel Tower pedestal with wide, creamy white ribbon and rest a large pink bow on the base. Place short-stemmed pastel pink daisies in the middle two-thirds of the crown of the foam. Arrange the daisies into a dome appearance with decreasing sizes. Stick large white feather plumes into the remaining bottom third, allowing some to drape downward. Add a picture of the couple in a white opalescent frame of a horse-drawn carriage to the table with flower petals around the display.
Floating
Pick three different heights of square-shaped vases and group them in the center of the table. Fill the bottom third of each with jet black rocks. Insert the head of one bright red daisy inside each vase and nestle it inside the rocks. Anchor two more daisies with their faces outward against the glass at different heights inside the vase. Add water to the top before placing a floating red daisy candle on the water.
Dramatic
Place a tall crystal vase in the center of the table and layer small cut glass beads of orange, red and yellow until you reach the middle of the vase. Fill the vase with water. Arrange several stalks of the brightly colored orange Hawaiian orchid with its fiery red and yellow flamed interior in the vase. Mix red and yellow daises into the arrangement and add lots of greenery. Sprinkle the colored beads and some daisy petals along the table.
