A silk lotus adds an exotic touch to an arrangement of silk flowers.
Silk floral arrangements offer your home environment permanent hints of color and texture. Silk flowers, unlike fresh ones, last indefinitely and can mimic practically any fresh flower to create a variety of bouquets and arrangements. Making your own silk floral arrangements at home allows you to mix and match silk flowers to create eye-catching focal points for any room.
Instructions
1. Fill the bottom of a clear glass vase with 2 inches of colored sand. Black, white or pink match the colors of the silk flowers.
2. Insert the velvet ivy vines into the vase. Allow them to fall naturally around the sides of the vase.
3. Insert six black silk roses into the vase. Let them fall naturally as well.
4. Add four silk irises to the arrangement. Let them fall naturally with the roses.
5. Insert the remaining six silk roses strategically throughout the vase, making sure not to cluster too many of the roses together in spots. Use the white irises as a way to guide you.
6. Place the pink lotuses in random spots in the arrangement to create a focal point of soft color and exotic flora.
