Instructions
1. Have your child put his hand on a piece of construction paper, trace around it and let him color it in as a Turkey, listing something that he is thankful for in each feather. Do this for each family member and tape them to the front entrance door.
2. Buy a plaster of paris kit to capture each person's hand-print. Paint it up like the bird of Thanksgiving, attach picture hanging hooks to the back and hang them up on the kitchen wall.
3. Glue turkey feathers in a design on a piece of paper. Write quotes in between them about what you are thankful for and frame it in a picture frame before hanging it on the wall.
4. Draw a cartoon version of a turkey, with a funny or thoughtful quote, and cut it out. Attach it to a magnet and hang it on the refrigerator.
5. Laminate a few different art projects to hang on the dining room wall. These turkey decorations can be taken down and used as place-mats during the meal.
6. Put up removable decorative hooks and have a hole puncher and string ready for when all the guests arrive. Have everyone bring a personal turkey decoration to wear as a necklace during the celebration.
