Tied streamers can be hung up as birthday decorations.
When you are decorating for a birthday party, you might think of using paper streamers that can be purchased from a supermarket. One alternative is to hang tulle fabric in place of paper streamers, which will make your celebration appear more classy and elegant. In order to make tulle resemble paper streamers, it is helpful to know how to tie them together properly. Properly tied fabric streamers will also remain connected throughout the event.
Instructions
1. Cut strips of tulle fabric so that each measures 3-inches high by 60-inches long.
2. Place the strips of tulle end to end onto a table or countertop.
3. Overlap each end, placing the right end piece over the left end piece.
4. Wrap the right end piece under the left end piece. This will cause the right end piece to now be on the left side and the left piece to be on the right side.
5. Pull the ends slightly and bring both of the ends together.
6. Place the left end piece over the right end piece.
7. Wrap the left end piece under the right end piece and pull to create a knot. Repeat this process with each section of tulle to make one long tied streamer.
